Linen:
Come with bedding (full size or twin) and blanket and pillow

Other items:
Of course, bochurim should not possess newspapers, secular books, cigarettes, non-chassidishe music, or any other inappropriate or negative items.

Bochurim should not bring or possess “smart devices” that are capable of internet access such as iPod Touch, etc..*

There is a public phone available to the bochurim. Bochurim will certainly have a more productive summer if they do not have a cell phone with them. However, if it is necessary for a bochur to have a cell phone, it must be entrusted with a member of the hanholoh who will return it to the talmid for a specific time frame.

* Any such devices will be held by the hanholoh and returned only at the end of the summer.

Medical

Please inform us about any unique medical situation that we should know about.

Insurance:

While the Yeshiva endeavors to provide the talmidim with a safe environment, the Yeshiva cannot bear any financial burden for medical care of the talmidim.

While most insurances cover emergency room visits, please make sure with you son's insurance company that he'll be covered for non-emergency care while out of his home state.

Alternatively, he may be eligible for Iowa Medicaid, for which we will be in touch with you. Or, you may consider purchasing travelers insurance. (You can check sites such as insuremytrip.com, squaremouth.com, quotewright.com among others.)

Please schedule your son's flights according to the following itinerary. This way, we'll be able to coordinate a ride for everyone from the airport to Postville.

At the start of the summer, on Monday, June 29 - 7 Tammuz
Depart New York (LGA) at 00:00 AM on  Airlines flight 000,
Arrive to Milwaukee (MKE) at 0:00 PM

At the end of the summer, on
Thursday, August 13- 23 Av
Depart Milwaukee (MKE) at 00:00 AM on  Airlines flight 000
Arrive to New York (LGA) at 0:00 PM.

Notes:
1) We have found southwest airlines (southwest.com) to be the most practical method of getting here. However, you may choose to use another airline.
2) In the event that the flight that you schedule is different than the above, schedule it so that your son arrives to Milwaukee at or earlier than the same flight at the start of the summer, and that he departs at or later than the same flight at the end of the summer.
