Our Yeshivas Kayitz bochurim are eagerly awaiting their comrades from the Yeshivas Kayitz in Minnesota, who will join us for this shabbos - parshas matos. In the mean time, the sleeping arrangements are already all prepared! Special thank you to all of the members of the Postville kehila who are preparing for, and will host large groups of bochurim at their Friday night meal. We know that this comes at the expense of cost, labor and family time. As always, we sincerely appreciate it!
R' Yaakov Rosenthal of Crown Heights, a graphologist and life coach, farbrenged with the bochurim on Shabbos afternoon. In fact, it was more than just a farbrengen. On Friday afternoon, the bochurim were told to prepare a handwriting sample of a few lines of writing in Hebrew and English. Then, at the farbrengen, R' Yaakov used those samples for analysis and as a springboard for a discussion about personality and the נשמה; how we can work on ourselves by knowing our strengths and challenges and about growth and maturity.
Reports from the bochurim are that they enjoyed the farbrengen and found it to be entertaining, informative and thought-provoking. (R' Yaakov's website is http://www.understandyourteenager.com) |
